The Beltway Bottom Feeders are pleased to announce the next Atlantic Coast Championships (ACCs) on April 10-11, 2010 in Washington, DC

International teams are encouraged to attend!

This years competition will only be a few months before World's in Colombia.  As such there has been interest by national teams from the US and other countries.  If there are enough national teams in attendance, we will see about accommodating them with a separate division.

Details are still being worked out but the location and date have been set.

Location:  George Mason University, Fairfax, VA (Facility of 2003 US Nationals)

Pool Time:

    Friday 4/9 evening setup time

    Saturday 4/1TBD

    Sunday 4/1TBD

Interest:  All teams are encouraged to indicate their intent as soon as possible.  This will allow us to gauge interest and ensure adequate pool time is reserved.

If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail and ask.

Thanks.

The Beltway Bottom Feeders are pleased to provide more details on the next Atlantic Coast Championships (ACCs) on April 10-11, 2010 in Washington, DC

Some specifics are still being worked out depending on attendance but we can provide a good estimate on pool time and team cost.  These things could vary slightly based on the number of teams that ultimately register.  In other words, if more than 8 teams attend, we hope to get more pool time which could slightly change the team fee (up or down)

Location:  George Mason University, Fairfax, VA (Facility of 2003 US Nationals and 2008 ACCs)

Pool Time:

    Friday 4/9  evening setup time

    Saturday 4/1 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Captain's meeting at 9:30. - APPROXIMATE

    Sunday 4/1 10:00 AM to 4:00PM  - APPROXIMATE

Number of teams: 8 possibly more if demand is there and additional pool time available

Cost: $550/team + $5/person for the USOA Development fund.  APPROXIMATE

Banquet: Of course and it's included in the tournament fee.

Registration Timeline: Now to March 21st, regular price.  After March 21st +$100 late fee.

Considerations:  Currently we are organized for 8 teams with potentially 3 from the DC area clubs (Beltway Bottom Feeders and GMU).  All teams are encouraged to register early as this will allow us to gauge interest in time to ask about more pool time to allow more teams.  We really prefer early registrations over the $100 late fee but we will accept it if applicable. J

If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail and ask.  Otherwise, please email with your intent and follow it with registration.

Thanks.

All,

One final call for teams for ACCs in April.  If you have not emailed me about attending, please do so now!  We have gotten a significant amount of interest.  We will most likely be hitting our limit of 12 teams and turning people away .  Please don’t miss out because you delayed.

If your club already responded and expressed the desire to bring multiple teams, please firm up your team count.  We will be working to see if we can accommodate second teams soon and need to get your final counts to do this.
