What is the purpose/benefit of DRYML only templates?

As far as I'm aware, selecting that option during the initial wizard
run will result in:

        remove_file 'app/views/layouts/application.html.erb'
        remove_file 'app/helpers/application_helper.rb'

I don't think the option has any effect outside of the wizard,
although I haven't checked closely.
