If you have already received an email about Tomas, I apologize. We do try not to flood you with emails on this list but this is important.

As many of you know, Tomas is a veteran from North KC who was paralyzed on his 5th day of duty in Iraq. Phil Donahue made a wonderful film about Tomas, BODY OF WAR.

Today, Tomas is in and out of a coma at St Luke's. He is very very ill.

We are dedicating our Sunday Plaza vigil today to Tomas. We will have signs and cards for you to sign or bring your own. After the vigil, we will deliver the cards to Tomas.

Please join us as we show that KC supports one of our own. We want to take pictures and send them to Tomas.

People tell me all the time they have been meaning to come down to the Plaza one Sunday and join us. Please let today be that Sunday.
