Today, I find I can connect display card to LCD monitor on ATI display card
with HDMI cable. They are super-fast at (720p) 1280x720 60Hz on HD-DVD and
many games. It seems that the transfer rate is faster and a lot of function
does not need to process when not using DVI cable. Here is their config
Magic Pro A2A Crossfire, AMD 4800+, 3G ram, 2x 250G sata2 arddisk in raid 0,
2x Sapphire X1950 pro
Asrock AliveXFire-eSATA2, AMD 4600+. 3G ram, 2x 250G sata2 harddisk in raid
0, 2x Sapphire X2600XT
I just use DVD to HDMI adaptor from display card and DVI to HDMI cable. But
I find I cannot use 1080p. If I enable, the computer will use it on next
boot while the monitor does not support, it will give a blank screen, very
difficult to remove.
