$400,000, which was dedicated to the Center City

art work on a renovated Dilworth Plaza adjacent to City Hall.

Yeah, it's pretty awesome they won the grant.  There was also a great
talk by some of The Hacktory folks at Women in Tech Summit this past
weekend too. A good week for that crew.

The only thing is, It's a matching grant. So they need $40K of their own
funds to unlock the full $40K of Knight Arts funds. I'm talking to
Georgia about doing some classes, If I can run the same class back to
back at NYCR and the other at The Hacktory, I can bulk order more parts.

I might aim to raise $5K through classes myself (which will math-ically
become $10K) spread over the next 12 months.  12 students x $70 profit x
2 cities x 4 classes = ~$6200  It's probably over-ambitious, but I think
5K is going to be my goal.

Georgia was joking about crazy fund-raiser ideas, so if you folks have
ideas or want to help get some matching funds, I'm sure they can use
more help.
