Dear Devotees,
This year's Basant Panchami Sarasvati Puja is going to be celebrated at the Hindu Temple of Minnesota on Jan 23rd starting at 9:30 with Puja.
In addition to Sarasvati Puja, there will be a Sangeet and Nritya Seva program from 10:30-12:00 in which devotees can offer bhajans and classical dance items as offering to Goddess Sarasvati. This will be in front of the Sarasvati mini-temple upstairs.
Those who wish to participate are requested to send in their group/individual name, song/dance selection by Monday January 11th, , 2010 to either

Please Note:
a.. Priority will be given to those who have sent in their requests by the above deadline. If there are more responses than can be accommodated, preference will be given to groups and children.
b.. Order of the items will be determined by the coordinators.
c.. Participants are expected to be present for the entire duration of the program.
d.. In order to accommodate as many requests as possible, a person can only be part of one presentation.
e.. Time slot guidelines: Small groups/Individual - under 5 minutes, Large groups - around 8-10 minutes
f.. Participants are requested to arrange for their own accompaniments and musical instruments such as tabla, mridangam, harmonium or shruthi box, etc.
