HCTC Board & Club -

I've been snowed with business and travels, but am trying to make some progress this week with sponsorship.

Seton Hays - Have a pending appt with Michele to give thank you gift and confirm partnership for this year.

Corridor - Heather will touch base to confirm for this year.

CTMC - Have reached out via email and should have update soon.

Cory Pack - Will check.

Possibles or Ideas for others that have relationships:

Chill Out - Working on already.

Casa Garcia - Who can give it a shot?

Airrostii (Buda) - Don't know new Doc that replaced Nick, but I think a couple of you may have used them. Who can connect with him?

Dickey's BBQ - Nothing says, I just did a triathlon like a big plate of BBQ!!

Any others???

Also, I plan to run Sunday at the Hays Gradu-8K.

I have checked with Nick's Airrosti replacement in Buda, and he has declined.
Here was his response:

I’m sorry I haven’t responded, in my mind I thought I had….

We have put our marketing funds towards some other things for the year but I greatly appreciate you offering it to me. I’m sorry for the delayed response and thank you again.

Thank you Bobby, Heather and April for reaching out and making things happen. Sorry to hear the AIRROSTI guy was a no go, April thanks for reaching out to him.

I have numerous irons in the fire and several sponsors pending...so far, I have received checks in the mail from Dr. Diane Phalen of San Marcos Foot and Ankle Podiatry and Jeff Clark, Chiropractor each for $300. I have a person/business who may be interested in a major sponsorship who I hope to hear back from by tomorrow...

We still need product donations and, most importantly, monetary sponsors. Please keep me posted on how it is going out there.

Has anyone considered or tried approaching the Plum Creek Developers?
It may be a worth a shot considering our participation from residents and having the Kids Tri in the neighborhood.

I am writing to officially ask you if you would like to occassionally attend our board meetings as a voice of guidance and usually the former pres drops in every now and again just to offer continuity. if interested, I will let you know well in advance when they are scheduled.
