Hello all.

I'm happy to announce that FPM SAPI is now part of official PHP distribution and available for testing in SVN trunk.
SVN snapshots can be found @ http://qa.php.net
In order to enable FPM SAPI you need to add --enable-fpm to your configure line.

There is still an ongoing discussion about conf file syntax, but the SAPI is already official.

That's really great news. Does this mean that fpm will be released
with php 5.3.3 release?

I personally doubt it - 5.3 is a stable branch, where only bugfixes are allowed.
Though FPM cannot break anything as it just adds new SAPI, so this question is disputable.
But you can certainly count on it to appear in 5.4.0.
