Octoberfest time. Who has some new brews to bring to sample? I'm bringing a new Rye Saison and Rye Pale Ale and maybe 2 different versions of Cream Ale if they are decent by friday. Brewing season is in full swing so come on out. New people are always welcome so brewers if you know any one interested please bring them on out.

Well since I no longer brew (apparently), I don't have anything 'new' exactly. I do have 3 growlers of various things from 2nd street brewery in Santa fe I've been saving for the occasion.

Tell me somebody's got an Oktoberfest they brewed,  or at least a fall beer of some kind.  I myself have a Belgian pale that's a week shy of being ready (bottled 1 week ago).  Sorry, I'll be bringing only commercial brew.

I am bringing my Imperial Stout, half that I simulated whiskey barrel aging and half I soured on oak.  I am impressed with both.  I am curious to see the clubs reaction.  Look forward to seeing you all.

Are you still interested in the PBW?  I did not get your message until after I got home from the last meeting.
 
Also, if anyone is interested, I still have much rice hulls.

Yes definitely.  I would like to try some after I tried a run of Oxyclean thru my chiller last batch.  It was concerning.  Let me know the damage and I'll bring some cash. Some rice hulls would be nice too.

I have an Oktoberfest. It's kegged. Not sure how much is left ... maybe a gallon or so. When's the next meeting?

The PBW is $15 for 4 pounds and the Rice Hulls are a devastating $.60 per pound.  I will bring my large packages of both and a scale.  Anyone is welcome.  Bring a container to haul it home.

Go to I40 and Soncy and go North on 335, just past the Brush chipping site on your left is Mariposa Dr with a yellow gate, turn in here and go 1/8th mile to the the Visitors center the first building.
