1.  We accepted new bylaws with the addition if secretary to the listed officers. 

2. Mark Hewes was elected new treasurer. Our current balance is 0 dollars and 0 cents. 

3.  John desoto was elected the new vice president. 

4.  Michael has been working on a new flier to pit ip around town  He will send out a sample for us to review. 

5.  Progress was made on a club barrel I will buy a used whiskey barrel (53 gallons).  We decided a first batch will be an imperial stout.  Michael will send out a recipe (which needs to be followed).  Anyone interested in participating will need to commit  by 11/1  .  I will give an estimate. We will split it up into 5 gallon shares more or less. I need a commitment by email ASAP if interested I am in for 5 to 10 gallons depending on interest. 

6. 1st sat of nov is teach a friend to brew day. Of course that is my daughter's b-day party and Bradley's Halloween party. 

7.  Discussed the Logo - "I did my part" said Collin. No other progress made. 

8.  Drank delicious beer.

hear hear!  I'm in for 5 gallons.  Will the recipe be in an extract version, or part mash version, or just AG?

The recipe is all grain. I guess the group will need to decide which way to go. All ag or different recipes. If you want you can brew it on my system.

I vote we have an all-grain recipe and an extract version if someone needs it.

I can do 5 or 10 gal. depending on what you need me to do. I have most of the grain except maybe 80L. I don't have any of those hops or yeast. Do you plan to do bulk order or have each individual buy their own. Also, when the barrel comes in there are certain maintenance steps which may need to be done.

I think a bulk order since we're looking at over 100 lbs of grain to fill the barrel.

I am contemplating another large bulk grain order.  I would like to hear how many might want to get some sack.  There are likely some members that need some sack.  s of grain I mean.

I am interested in bulk grain buy.  I would be in for 2 sacks.  I also have a case of bottles if anybody needs some.  Need gone soon.
