ANNOUNCEMENTS - FRIDAY, MAY 28, 2010
1. There will be a Student Council meeting on Wednesday, June 3rd, after
school for next year's Student Council. All members must attend.
2. If you were a spring sport athlete and wish to keep your locker
decoration, please take it or else they will be thrown away.
3. Track members are reminded of equipment day Tuesday at 3 pm. Also, if
you have not turned in your uniform, Tuesday would be a good day. Mr.
Scott will not accept uniforms at school, they must be turned in at the
stadium.
4. Student Council Member at Large applications are due by the end of the
day today.
5. The library is closed today. Please return all library books.
6. Attention all students interested in Model UN for next fall:
There will be a brief meeting after school on Tuesday, June 1 in room 210.
At this meeting, you will:
1. Learn more about the Model United Nations program;
2. Discover which countries we have reserved for next year's Columbus
conference;
3. Start to organize nations of 5-10 members and decide on groups of 4
roommates; and
4. Learn about the costs and requirements of participating in the Model
UN Conference next fall.
Please see Mrs. Merckens with any questions or if you can't attend the
June 1 meeting. See you there!
7. If you are under the age of 18 and plan on working this summer, please
stop by the office to pick up a work permit. If you do not have a valid
physical on file, you will need one in order for the work permit to be
approved.
