1. The Girls tennis improved their conference record to 3-1 with a win
over Perkins Thursday. Victorious for the Tigers were Erin Black, Lynsie
Schwerer, and Brittany Mayer in singles.
2. Congratulations to the boys golf team for their first victory in the
SBC last night over Edison. The match came down to the last score and the
Tigers won by 1 stroke. Keegan Bollenbacher and Jack Springer led the
team, both shooting 42's.
3. Reminder to all National Honor Society members: There is a mandatory
meeting today after school in the library.
4. Here is an opportunity to complete easy community service hours. The
Rev3 (the Cedar Point Triathlon) is coming to town September 12th.
Volunteer at this event and earn community service hours for yourself
while supporting the community and Big Brother Big Sisters. Please stop
by the office and pick up a Rev3 flyer, with directions on how to
volunteer on the back.
5. A representative from Hocking College will be here on Tuesday,
September 7, during the 5th period lunch times to meet with anyone
interested in learning more about them.
6. The library is closed through Friday, September 10th.
7. Any junior or senior interested in joining Great Books Forum should
meet in
Ms. Kukay's room (203) next Wednesday, September 8, after school.
8 The Huron High School Vocal Music Department is sponsoring a Family
Getaway and Fundraiser on Thursday, October 14th. Have a blast at
