HURON HIGH SCHOOL
TUESDAY, MAY 21, 2013

1.  Attention any boys or girls interested in playing tennis - there will be a meeting today at 2:35 in the cafeteria.  The meeting will be brief.

2.  Attention all Art Students!  Tonight is the Fine Arts Festival from 6-8pm.  Don't forget it is a requirement to attend the event. So join us for an enchanted evening of art and music!  Art Students should bring their cookies and refreshments any time during the school day.

3.  Those students who signed up for summer school should check the window in the main office for the time slots.  The first 25 people who turned in slips with 8-10 AM on them were awarded that time slot. Those who came in later were put into the 10-12 slot.  

There will be a brief meeting on Wednesday morning following announcements for anyone who  is attending summer school to go over the details. You will be called down to the gym Wednesday morning for that meeting. 

4.  Attention baseball players:  All uniforms are to be washed and turned in to Coach Hohler at 2:30 pm on Wednesday in room 104.

 

5.  There will be a brief meeting Thursday after school for all girls intending on playing basketball next season  The meeting will be held in Mr Harkelroad's room 212 immediately after school.  Information will be distributed for those interested in summer league play.  Please call Coach Caporini if you are unable to attend.

6.   There will be a mandatory meeting for boys soccer players and their parents on Thursday night at 6 pm in Mr. Asher's room 105.

7.  Attention all NHS members:  All community service hours must be turned in by this Friday, May 24th.  Any Senior without enough hours, will not be wearing the honor stole for graduation.  Stop by the Guidance office to check and see how many you have.  Remember, Friday, May 24th, is the deadline. 

8.  Students please be sure to check your class bulletin boards for the latest eligibility list for Student Rewards Day.

 

9.  Lunch today is General Tso chicken or a hot ham & cheese sandwich.
