1. There will be a wrestling meeting immediately after school on Friday in the cafeteria.
2. With the end of the school year fast approaching, would you please check with your school cashier to see if you may have a negative balance in our cafeteria. The cashiers last day is Friday, May 25th, so we will need any negative balances cleared before then, please. Thanks for supporting our program.
3. Attention all students: Bring your money to the Spring Arts festival tonight! The Spanish Club will be selling beef tacos, Mexican
rice and pop to support the Jordan Lynn Smith Scholarship fund. We will
begin selling tacos
at 5.
4. Attention Students: Do you need help preparing for your final Exams?
Come join us for TUTORFEST - Today is the last day!
We have expert tutors and teachers available to help you make note cards, study and review study guides.
Get ahead and come to Tutorfest. There will be food and drinks provided!

The Admiral's Point Nursing home is hosting a "prom" for the Senior
citizens that reside there. They would like a few Huron High School
students (guys and gals) to come and assist them. The "prom" will be tonight from
6:30 - 8:30. Please dress formally for this very
special dance! Please sign up ASAP in the Guidance office if you can
attend.
6. There will be a short meeting after school on Monday for any girl
interested in playing tennis in the Fall. The meeting will be in the
choir room.
7. Attention all students: All library materials are due Friday,
May 18th. Please return your materials to the library. Seniors: All
library materials must either be returned or paid for prior to your last
day!
8. Attention former STAR Leadership campers: If you are a current
freshman or sophomore who participated in prior STAR summer Leadership
camps you now have an opportunity to help lead a camp. Any interested
students please stop by the office to see the dates available for sign
up. You will receive community service hours for your time.
9. Attention all girls grades 9 - 11! Are you interested in being a member
of the Tigerettes Dance and Drill team? Tryouts are the week of May
21st after school at the high school. If you have any questions please
see Mr. Ladd or a current Tigerette!
10. There will be no basketball shooting or open gyms next week due to exams and graduation.
11. Yearbooks for the 2011-2012 school year are on sale!! Visit the website

put in our school order number 4157, and follow the simple instructions
to complete your order. Don't miss out on this opportunity to preserve

12. Attention juniors: Senior shirts are now available to be purchased at Bennetts, across from Sawmill Creek Resort on Cleveland Road. Please do this as soon as possible.
13. Students are reminded that if they are under the age of 18 and
will be getting a summer job, you will need a work permit. Please plan
ahead. If you do not have a valid physical on file you will need
to get that from your physician. Our summer office hours will be 6 am -
2 pm.
14. PSEOP students: Once you schedule your PSEOP classes at
Firelands you should be sure to stop by the Guidance Office to adjust
your HHS schedule.
