HURON HIGH SCHOOL
ANNOUNCEMENTS -THURSDAY, JUNE 3, 2010

1. Congratulations to the following students. They have been selected as
member at large for student council. Rachel Miller, Samantha Wechter,
Laura Hahn, and Laura Dewey.

2. Reminder to all students that you need to be on time for exams in the
morning. Students arriving late to school will not be admitted to their
exam and will have to wait in the cafeteria.

3. Please remember to clear up all school, lunch and library fines, etc
that you may owe. Grade cards will be withheld until your school account
is cleared.

4. End-of-the-year football meeting next Monday, June 7th, at 6:00 pm at
the clubhouse. Lifting will follow.

5. Attention Juniors-almost Seniors:

An ACT Test will be offered on September 11. You must register for this
test before August 6. This is a very good time to take the test but many
times students forget to register since the deadline is in the summer. It
would be a great idea to register NOW if you want to take the September
ACT so you do not forget. The guidance office wishes you a wonderful safe
summer.

6. The library is closed today. Please return all library books.

7. Attention all students still interested in the Model United Nations
Club for next year: If you missed the meeting yesterday, please stop by
room 210 for an information sheet or see Mrs. Merckens with any questions.

8. If you are under the age of 18 and plan on working this summer, please
stop by the office to pick up a work permit. If you do not have a valid
physical on file, you will need one in order for the work permit to be
approved. Summer office hours will be 6 am - 2pm.
