1. Seniors this is a reminder to please let the Guidance office know of any scholarships you will be receiving from your college or other organizations that you did not list on the form Mrs. Henning had you complete. Also, if you have changed the college you will be attending or your major, please let Mrs. Hahn know.
2. Congratulations!!! The 2012-13 Student Body President is Matt Rivera and
the Student Body Vice President is Lauren Dewey. There will be a
meeting on Wednesday May 9th, for anyone wishing to run for Student
Council in room 202
3. Congratulations to NHS officers for next year. The voting was
very close with terrific candidates. Elected for next year are:
President: Laura Hahn
Vice-President: Chloe Greenawalt
Secretary: Lauren Mueller
Treasurer: Megan McNulty
Director of Committees: Emily Ineson
4. Congratulations to the Huron Chorale for receiving a Superior rating and
the Huron Concert Band for receiving an Excellent rating at State
contest on Friday night. You can hear both groups at the Spring Arts
Festival on Thursday, May 17th.
5. Ole Amigos: There will be a
burrito bar coming May 14th to the Huron High School cafeteria. You
will have 3 choices of meat, rice, beans & condiments. Other
choices from the cafeteria will still be available.

All girls interested in playing golf next year, there will be an
informational meeting on Friday, May 11th, at 3 pm in room 213, Coach
Kaufman's room.
7. From the cafeteria: After
TODAY, there will be absolutely no charging of lunches in the cafeteria.
8. Students are reminded that if they are under the age of 18 and
will be getting a summer job, you will need a work permit. Please plan
ahead. If you do not have a valid physical on file you will need
to get that from your physician. Our summer office hours will be 6 am -
2 pm.
9. PSEOP students: Once you schedule your PSEOP classes at
Firelands you should be sure to stop by the Guidance Office to adjust
your HHS schedule.
10. Seniors are reminded their "Rules and Regulations" paper is due in to the office on Friday, May 11th.

The library is open periods 5 & 6 only today.
