The Waverly Mechanic

I'm new to the HRM area, and I'm looking for a good honest auto
mechanic. Someone at work mentioned the "Waverly Mechanic" but they
couldn't be sure if he was still around. If anyone knows if he is still
around and can get me in contact with him that would be great!

According to what he (the Waverly Mechanic) posted here a while ago, he is
no longer in business. Even though his signs are still on a few telephone
pole in the city.

Thank you. I'm still looking for a good auto mechanic, so if you use
one or know of one and are willing tp pass along his name or the name
of the garage, that would be great!

Thanks. I kind of thought it was not a serious reply, but you never

I stumbled on your post tonight about looking for a mechanic....
"Waverly Mechanic" I'm not sure who you mean, but there is a good one
...off waverly rd exit on other side of highway ....... you go in the
exit to conrads gravel pit take a right on to montagu rd... it will
snake around a bit then you'll pass a short street kinda hidden on your
right hand side ( there is only mail boxes on it) just go in there....
follow again down to right and as road makes a 90deg. turn he is the
long gravel driveway right at the bend ....you cant see his garage
untill you drive way in
i'm not sure how to spell his name but you say it like this (YOUR-GO
or URGO)
He does great work and he charges an honest price.
If you went to the NAPA store down by rotery you could get his number
i think...
i had it but he just got new one this year, when i phoned the old one,
the lady told me if i ever get his new one to call her back with it
cause she needs machanic herself, and she gets soooo many calls for him
he must be good lol
I Work full time but I also do body work on the side evenings and
weekends Just in case your ever in need of that.

Mike Johnson lives on the Old Yankeetown Road out in Hammond's Plain (I

Now, that's what I call going the extra mile!!! Wow! Much appreciate

it Rawdon?) it will be. I'm calling them first thing Monday! Based on

That's how I took it when I read his post in the group here, saying he had
received a better offer of employment and had closed up shop. I don't recall
when that was, but I'm sure if you searched a bit it would come up.

I have to agree with the recommendation of Wayne at Hydrostone.
I know many people who will not go anywhere else.

For people in the Timberlea area I would also recommend Gerald Foley on
the bay road.
