Anti-bullying crusader to run for Tories
The co-founder of the Pink Shirt Day anti-bullying campaign wants to run for the Progressive Conservatives in the next
provincial election.
Travis Price announced Tuesday that he hopes to be the party's candidate in Fairview-Clayton Park.
Price is currently a bullying prevention officer with the Canadian Red Cross. In 2007, he gained international acclaim
while a Grade 12 Central Kings Rural High School student after he and friend David Shepherd encouraged students to wear
pink shirts as a way to stand up against kids who had bullied a Grade 9 student.
There's been an anti-bullying day in September since then.
The NDP and Liberals have already nominated candidates. Abad Kahn, communications and development co-ordinator for the
YMCA-YWCA, will carry the New Democrat banner, while high school teacher Patricia Arab is the Liberal candidate.

I wonder if Jack would vote for this Tory if he ran in his riding?
