Art auction and film screening December 21

Thirty youth will be traveling to Serbia this March break where we will
teach and learn peace from each other through the Peaceful Schools
International Youth to Youth Conference.

To help us get to Serbia we will be hosting a benefit screening of the
film that inspired this trip: Teaching Peace in a Time of War, directed by
Teresa MacInnes. The film follows Hetty van Gurp in her quest to inspire
peace in the schools of Serbia.

In addition to the screening of this film, we will host a silent auction
with lots of wonderful, original local art.

Please join us on December 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the St. Patrick High
School auditorium in Halifax, NS

Admission is by donation only. We suggest $5.00 for students and $10.00
for adults. Anyone who donates $10.00 or more will be eligible for great
door prizes!

Teaching Peace in a Time of War was produced by Triad Teaching Peace
Productions in co-production with The National Film Board of Canada and
