Weird old RV

While driving around the French-South shore on the 30th I saw a weird
old RV:

Can anyone identify this? It looks like an unholy union between an
Airstream and a milk truck!

Airstream made motorhomes as far back as 1974 based on the Argosy compact
bus. It looks kind of like one of those.
