Thermax HD source in CA

I have some good news re Thermax HD on the W coast. I found a
distributor that will work with us. While it's true that the only US
fabrication plant for Thermax HD is in Indiana, a company called
Therm-all does bring it to CA.

Therm-all, www.therm-all.com. They have branch offices in:
AZ, CA, FL, GA, OH, PA, TX, WI

I got a quick reply from the CA salesman (Leif Nilsen 916 858-1492), and
here are the specifics on getting Thermax HD or Thermax HD Plus.

Thermax HD $35.83 per 1" x 4' x 8' panel ($1.12/sq ft)
Thermax HD Plus $92.16 per 1" x 4' x 8' panel ($2.88/sq ft)

We must commit to purchase 42 sheet (one bundle), but they don't have to
be picked up or paid for at once. They will be delivered to their new
address in Stockton for pickup there. Personal checks and credit cards
are accepted. 3 weeks delivery ARO.

So maybe we can join up into two's or three's, then pick up separately.?

Oh, **great** work Bill, thank you so much. Thermax HD Plus has about
1mm of aluminium on the outside - it's very tough stuff - but
probably tougher than the Playa needs. Also heard reports about the
aluminium facing coming off the board in roofing applications...

But Thermax HD is *fabulous* stuff. Really, really good material.

I'm interested in 18 or 19 sheets of HD, but I'm in SJ and would
really prefer not to drive to Stockton!

Did they say how many we'd need to order to get delivery?

A bunch of folks in my Burning Man camp want to build yurts, so I am
going to forward this info and see if anyone there wants to buy and
arrange transpo.

I just talked with Leif Nilsen, and he says that he could deliver
Thermax to San Francisco, but the carrier would likely demolish
the material in shipment, and delivery would be a bad idea.
