Fascinating. As a design-concept, I would add several things.
Tie-downs (a necessity because that thing will be picked up in the
slightest wind and tossed about) and a double-wall for the inflated
part, and it won't deflate if you have people coming in and out of it,
as humans are social creatures, and like to visit, and children run in
and out of it, etc.
Depending on the material (and it's heat-tolerance) I might make a
hot-air balloon out of it, which would be a second reason for the
tie-downs, and a really good way to get out of earth-quake, volcano, and
tsunami circumstances, especially if it inflates that fast, and, adding
a heat-source, will get it off the ground quickly.
I also don't think it would stand up to precipitation really well, so if
you have a bundle of hollow carbon-fiber rods and connectors,
bungee-linked, that could unfold to give it a frame-like structure, that
bundled together make a good walking stick ... that might solve some of
the problems I envision.
