Grails?
...applicable to what we're working on: Ever heard of Grails ([link] I've heard that it is Rails-like RAD web development power in a Groovy \ Java environment. One of the main books on Grails (e.g., "The Definitive Guide to Grails) has as it's main ongoing example the development of a... more »

View this page "Interesting Links"
I added a new page to the group as a central collection of interesting links - just a little something to start things off. Click on [link] - or copy & paste it into your browser's address bar if that doesn't work.

Fixing the Wiki
"The HelpMatch wiki is at: [link] Action items: If you haven't, add yourself to the HelpMatch members on the wiki." f.y.i. - I returned the Strategy, Current Events discussion, and Collaboration Tools pages back to the last good state (I think). They were defaced.... more »

Collaboration Tools - Online Communities
A platform that I've used in the passed is Community Server (http:// communityserver.org/). This is a platform for creating online communities. I originally was drawn to this system for the forums. It also supports blogs, photos, and file storage. I've seen it's usage grow over the last two years. No support for a Wiki that I know... more »

What is the current status?
Hi I'm new to HelpMatch, and have spent the last while reading the contents on the groups/wiki/blog. I find it very interesting what other organisations, like ChangingThePresent, are doing, but would agree with Ruth's conclusions from June 14, that HelpMatch is still a worthwhile project. So, I guess what I'm wondering now is where to go from here?... more »

Collaboration Tools
I came across a column on collaboration tools that I thought you all might be interested in ([link] 2007/06/a_collaboration.html). It's short and a quick read, but I was particularily interested in the part about MindQuarry 1.1. Has anyone ever heard about MindQuarry or Jazz.net?... more »

Collaboration Tool - MindMeister
I ran across a new mindmapping tool that is online and supports simultaneous users. Imports and exports to and from Freemind. [link] - Craig.

ChangingThePresent.org -- new developments
Hi everybody, Robert Talmach, president of WellGood LLC, contacted me this past week. They're the company that created ChangingThePresent.org! The staff pedigree impressive (e.g., CTO Bruce Tate has written a number of books on Java and Ruby), and Robert tells me that what we see on [link] is but 3% of what they have planned for... more »

approving comments
Who's going to be approving comments on the blog at [link] There are 4 comments pending. Two look like garbage to be deleted. I'd be happy to do it, I just need the rights to do so.
