R can be a tough language for those new to it, and increasingly there's a lot of us out there. You're feeling frustrated or lost. You've scoured the online resources (you really have, right? you're sure?) such as: • R's built-in help - help(), ? OR help.search() or ?? for full text search • R Search and RSeek– which allow searches of the R-help mailing lists and resources • Stack Overflow's R page - an increasingly valuable place • Google Code Search for R - code examples in the wild Maybe you're not ready to ask your tee ball question on the Major League list (as one of our members put it).
