"Oil ended the day below $83 a barrel on Friday, finishing down about 4 percent for the week, on fears that another recession could cut demand for energy ... Benchmark West Texas Intermediate crude for September delivery fell 12 cents to finish at $82.26 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange after earlier rising as high as $83.55 per barrel. Stocks also started the day with gains but the major indexes ended down more than 1 percent, posting their fourth straight week of losses as uncertainty about the global economy continued."
Stay focussed on the "GLOBAL" economy. that is the focal point for the foreseeable future.
Do you remember when the Obama Treasury continued the plan begun by the Bush Treasury (September 2008-September 2009) as the Elite used the severe crisis of the "bailout era" to ditch Capitalism and install Fascism? (Read full details in NEWS2317, entitled, "Financial Coup Completed: American Economy Now A Tightly Controlled, Severely Regulated Economy")
During this crisis, Federal Reserve and Treasury officials cooperated with each other and with the Central Bank Presidents of countries around the globe to "solve" our crisis by taking over key privately owned companies in the guise of helping them through massive bailouts. When this program was completed, the key American industries of Banking, Insurance and the Automotive Manufacturers were under Federal control; Capitalism was overthrown and Fascism was instituted.
As proof that this type of change had been instituted, President Obama fired the CEO of General Motors, an action literally impossible under Capitalism. We needed no other proof that Fascism was controlling our economy.
During this time, the head of the American Federal Reserve unofficially - but tightly -- coordinated his every move with the chiefs of the other key Central Bankers throughout the world, effectively giving the world its first operational taste of global economic authority.
But, institutional change is required if this planned future global economy is going to operate permanently.
Therefore, as soon as one crisis passes in one country, a similar crisis will erupt in another country. Investors are going to react to global news like never before as they worry incessantly that their portfolio might not be able to withstand all the forces coming against it from every direction.
But, as we have stated so many times before, the Illuminati does not plan to collapse the American or the world economy until World War III is ready to begin. Time and time again, people will be certain the economy is going to crash, and it may even teeter a bit on the edge, but in the end, financial controllers will pull the economy back from the brink just in time to both prevent a total collapse and to get the economic changes they seek.

The Palestinians seem to be taking their war against Israel to a new, dangerous
extreme.
Israel reacts in a somber, but prophetic manner!
NEWS BRIEF: "30 rockets strike Israel day after coordinated terror attacks kill 8", Haaretz News, August 18, 2011
"Less than a day after coordinated terror attacks killed eight Israelis, Palestinian attacks on Israel continue as 30 Grad and Qassam rockets were fired throughout southern Israel on Friday. Most of the rockets fell in open areas and did not cause damage or injuries, but one of the missiles hit a building in an Ashdod industrial park, wounding six people, one of them seriously .. Iron Dome successfully intercepts rockets bound for Ashdod and Ashkelon."
While we are certainly glad that Israel's Iron Dome anti-missile system knocked down rockets aiming at Ashdod and Ashkelon, Palestinian leadership certainly knows that Iron Dome can be decisively defeated by sheer numbers of rockets in the air.
The IDF counterattacked:
"The IDF spokesman's office said in a statement that Israeli planes targeted weapon manufacturing centers in central Gaza Strip and two more sites in the north and south. "The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers', the statement read, 'and will continue to operate resolutely against anyone who terrorizes Israel. The Hamas terrorist organization is the address, and it bears the responsibility'."
However, the IDF also took an action months ago which vibrates with prophetic Scripture!
NEWS BRIEF: "State earmarks mass grave sites in case of national disaster", YNET News, June 14, 2011
"Israel's National Planning and Building Board ruled Tuesday to designate eight sites across Israel as mass burial sites in case of a nationwide disaster ... Another work premise is that in case of a nationwide mass casualty event authorities would be unable to accommodate timely burial, due to foreseen problems with identifying remains and the need to clear bodies in order to thwart the spread of disease."
The words, "identifying remains and the need to clear bodies in order to thwart the spread of disease" reminds me of the somber work in Israel of removing dead bodies in the aftermath of the Ezekiel 38-39 Russian-led invasion. Listen:
"And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land. " (Ezekiel 39:15-16)
Is Israel preparing so such a disaster as all-out war? I would think so, and the Holy Spirit is prompting authorities to be ready.

III. Republican Presidential Candidate, Mitt Romney, seems to be content to lie low as his contenders self-destruct.

"GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has settled on a rather low-key strategy of avoiding controversy, even as he allows his rivals to all discredit themselves with outlandish statements. If the last 24 hours are any indication, there’s something to this approach. In a single day, almost all of his opponents have said something that has attracted negative national media attention and should be raising real concerns among GOP establishment figures about their fitness for the presidential campaign."
What are some of these outlandish statements by Romney's competitors?
* "Michele Bachmann fears the rise of the Soviet Union, which dissolved almost twenty years ago."
* "Rick Santorum says abortion and gay marriage caused the economic crisis"
* "Rick Perry has no grasp of basic biology or history".
"This was just today. Just about the only Republican presidential candidate who hasn’t said anything ridiculous in the last 24 hours is Mitt Romney ... If Romney can stand by while his opponents implode — without getting drawn into the whackiness himself — enough GOP primary voters just may decide he’s the last electable candidate standing."
Since Romney ran a Presidential campaign in 2008 which was clearly designed to propel him into frontrunner status in 2012, we have believed that the Republican candidate in 2012 will be Mormon Mitt Romney! We certainly do NOT support him, as we demonstrate in our "2012 Election Alert", but we believe that the Global Elite want Romney to be at least the Republican candidate in 2012.--

I. David Barton is traveling with Glenn Beck in his "Rally In Courage" tour of Israel, and both men are showing their true spiritual colors!

"Glenn Beck in Israel declares, “This place, so modest, so small, is where God chose to first reveal himself to mankind, and God fills it with his majesty. For as long as man has known God, he has come here to Jerusalem to touch the mantle of the Divine. Three faiths, three paths to God, and while the paths sometimes take us away from each other, they always return here, to Jerusalem."
Glenn Beck is repeating one of the worst lies ever told about salvation: that, eventually, all spiritual roads lead to the Father in Heaven. Listen to Beck again:

What did Jesus say? "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)
Therefore, Glenn Beck just called Jesus Christ a liar!
But, we should not be too surprised, because Beck's Mormonism causes him to place a very light opinion of the Jesus of the Christian New Testament! Mormons believe in a far different Jesus, as Bill Schnoebelen reveals quite clearly in his DVD, "Mormonism's Temple of Doom".
Now, listen to Glenn Beck cry tears when some Christians questioned his salvation! Mormon doctrine teaches that each Mormon man must attempt to achieve godhood in his lifetime so he can be "pulled through the veil" on resurrection day and given his own planet to populate and to rule. This doctrine is "salvation" and "being saved" to the Mormon! therefore, as Schnoebelen exposes on his DVD, "Mormonism's Temple of Doom", a Mormon will be able to state unequivocally that, yes, he is saved. Because Mormonism has so completely redefined "being saved", that is not a good question for a Christian to ask.

Now, let us examine David Barton on this tour as he cooperates with Glenn Beck once again.
"David Barton of Wallbuilders took part in Beck’s Israel rally and we found a donate button on Beck’s website that links back to Barton’s Wallbuilders website where people can make a donation toward the costs of the rally in Israel. Why would Barton and Wallbuilders be part of an event that is promoting pluralism and ecumenicalism?"
That is a very good question. Why would Christian author David Barton be so willing to cooperate with a member of the apostate Mormon religion, Glenn Beck? And, why would Barton be so willing to cooperate in the concept of Ecumenism? After all, New Age authors have repeatedly stated that their New Age Christ could not arise until the full fruits of global ecumenism are fully in bloom. All religions must be "One" before Antichrist can arise -- and David Barton is on the ecumenical stage with Glenn Beck!

"... it is profoundly disturbing that in the purportedly more “moderate” Egypt of 2011, demonstrators took to the streets outside the Israeli embassy in Cairo with signs bearing swastikas and a message that read: 'the gas chambers are ready'.”
I cannot fathom how anyone who has been following the "Arab Spring" protests which overthrew Egyptian President Mubarak. could believe that the new Egypt is "more moderate". After all, the outlawed "Egyptian Brotherhood" of Islamic terrorists is now mainstreamed into Egyptian politics and they are forcing Egyptian leaders to consider renegotiating Egypt's firm peace treaty with Israel!
Nevertheless, the scene of Egyptian demonstrators outside the Israeli embassy in Cairo flashing signs with the Nazi swastika and bearing the message, "the gas chambers are ready" shocks me to the core. From the beginning of the Nazi holocaust, in the late 1930's, Arab leaders met with Adolf Hitler to guarantee him their support for the complete annihilation of the Jewish people. During the modern era of Israel, Arab leaders have consistently taught that the Holocaust which Hitler started was not completed and must be completed now, by the current nations of Islam.
But, it is shocking to me as a Christian and a supporter of Israel, to see this Islamic hatred fully formed and in my face. Remember, this Arab/Islamic hatred of Israel and of anything Jewish is the "ancient hatred" mentioned in the Old Testament which started with Esau. Bill Salus, in his DVD, "Isralestine" expertly defines this "ancient hatred" and demonstrates how God has foretold that He will physically annihilate the people who began this hatred and who have hated Israel in every generation since.
Powerful reading of a powerful set of prophecies which are guiding Middle East events right now.
I find it most interesting to note that, in the prophecies of Ezekiel 38-39 - the Russian-led invasion of Israel -- that Egypt is never mentioned! Even though the armies of Libya and Ethiopia are shown to be marching against Israel, Egypt is not mentioned. These armies must march through Egypt on the way to Israel, and yet Egypt is not mentioned. Certainly, Egypt would want to march with a mighty army whose goal was to annihilate Israel, and yet Egypt is not mentioned.
Some modern Bible scholars have wondered aloud whether Egypt might be wiped out at this prophetic point in world history.
Well, if Egypt renounces her peace treaty with Israel and if she acts in any way to attempt to annihilate the Jew, God's annihilating judgment might have fallen on her by the time the Russian-led invasion of Israel occurs. Listen to God's stark warning:
"I will gather all nations and will bring them down into the Valley of Ethos, and there will I deal with and execute judgment upon them for their treatment of My people and of My heritage Israel..." (Joel 3:2; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)
Listen again: "I will execute judgment upon them for their treatment of My people and of My heritage Israel"!
Were the Egyptian Islamic radicals thinking of this warning
when they displayed their hateful signs of genocide? I think not!

III. Events in Libya take a nasty rhetorical change as the Pentagon beings using the same exaggerated threat against Libya as it used to justify America's invasion of Iraq!

"In 2003, as the United States prepared in invade Iraq under the pretext that Saddam Hussein possessed WMD's, Muammar Gaddafi announced he would dismantle Libya’s nuclear and chemical weapons program. Libyan officials provided the U.S. and Britain with documentation and details on Libya’s chemical, biological, nuclear, and ballistic missile activities and subsequently allowed officials to visit secret sites and Libyan laboratories. Gaddafi provided centrifuge designs and a list of suppliers to U.S. officials."
President Gaddafi evidently "saw the handwriting on the wall" as "American and British intelligence services were trumpeting the new doctrine that Western powers could invade any Third World Country whose leadership was pursuing some type of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD defined as Nuclear, Chemical or Biological weapons).
Gaddafi did not want to give President Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair any excuse whatsoever to invade his country and topple his regime. Therefore, Gaddafi gave up the details of his weapons program and shipped large quantities of the product to American officials in this country.
However, now that Western Powers are floating the idea of placing "boots on the ground" in Libya, they are resurrecting the old charge of the danger of Libya's WMD to the world.
"... the U.S. and NATO are now using the specter of a Libyan WMD cache as propaganda in the ongoing effort to oust Gaddafi and install a regime more amendable to the global elite. 'U.S. intelligence and military officials say no one can be sure who controls the Libyan government’s weapons stockpiles, from tons of mustard gas and raw nuclear materials to some 30,000 shoulder-fired rockets that can threaten aircraft,” reports the Associated Press. “The officials say the stockpiles appear to be under Libyan government control, despite rebel advances into the capital of Tripoli.”
" 'You can’t anticipate everything the Khadafy regime will do', British Foreign Secretary William Hague said on Tuesday as The Telegraph speculated Libyan 'sleeper cells' might be in Europe, poised to carry out acts of terror."
Ah, yes, the dreaded possibility that officials of a rogue government might provide WMD to terrorists completes the public propaganda campaign, simply because it so thoroughly frightens the undiscerning citizen. Remember the Iraqi propaganda? Saddam Hussein was said to possess militarized Weapons of Mass Destruction and was said to be sympathetic to supplying Osama bin Laden! That lie pushed American citizens over the edge and they supported Bush's invasion of Iraq. Of course, Mass Media slightly reported, years later, the fact that Bush had lied and lied and lied again in stating that Iraq possessed WMD and that Saddam would ever supply Osama bin Laden. Today, most Americans still believe this lie, even though the President's own commission admitted that these charges were false.
Therefore, to hear the Pentagon leveling the same propaganda charges against Libya leads us to conclude that we are witnessing the beginning of a propaganda campaign designed to convince undiscerning citizens of the need to invade and occupy Libya.
