I was just looking through the current UofA Surplus Auction. There are two compressed gas cylinders listed as scrap metal for sale. They have probably either exceed some safety age limit, or possibly failed a hydro test, or maybe they just don't want do guaranty the safety of the cylinders. But it means you might be able to buy them cheap if you want to make more bells.

you can also buy these from thunderbird cylinder in Tempe.  Alyson and I made a couple of them a few months ago and they sound really great.
