The General Election is November 6, and the deadline to get properly registered to vote is October 9.
A few weeks ago, just after the Primary Election, I asked a few Heatsync members if they were registered to vote.
We checked online and it turned out that 3 out of 3 weren't registered or had problems with their registration.
(Since then several people have mentioned that they managed to straighten out their voter registration by using that link, hence I'm posting this final reminder.)
Our members tend to be a mobile crowd. If they moved into the area, they may have forgotten to register.
If they moved across town, they needed to update their address.
Please use the above link to either register to vote, verify that your registration is correct, or to update your address.
To simplify matters you may also want to request an Early Voting ballot that will be sent by mail.
When you vote-by-mail you avoid lines at the polling place on Election Day.
If you forget to mail it back in time, you (or a friend) can drop it off on Election Day at ANY polling place in Maricopa County.

A note about Election Fraud:
Some people have mentioned that they took care of their Voter Registration on the street (typically outside a store) where the filled out a Voter Registration form on the spot.
Beware: Sometimes this is a scam!
If YOU sent in the form yourself, you're probably OK.
However, sometimes when you return to form to this "helpful" person outside the store, they later examine your party affiliation, and if they find it in opposition to their own, then then will simply discard you application.
Then, unfortunately, on Election Day you get the surprise that you are not properly registered!
So, please, use the online sites, or visit the official location in Mesa.
