Mayor's Breakfast Video Volunteer Needed

I just got a request from the City of Mesa public information office
requesting someone from the lab with high energy to do a short spot
for a montage video their working on about innovation in Mesa. It'll
be aired at the Mayor's Breakfast event http://www.mesaaz.gov/mayor/breakfast.aspx.

Specifically anyone with a big tech project or business idea brewing
at the lab would be ideal.

Any takers? It doesn't sound like a lot of time commitment. I think they're just looking for a sound (vid) bite.

Absent any takers would anyone mind if I just pointed them at a Hot Topics video or the like?

A little more info. They'd like to shoot it either this Friday (1/18) or next Monday (1/21). They can’t use the online footage we have posted because they are asking specific questions and the clip needs to have the same look and feel as the others.

I haven't seen Schuyler around Heatsync lately, but he's full of energy and I bet he'd love to do a quick video interview.

If you're willing to do a hot topic, then you should be fine. It's mostly about how the lab fosters innovation in the community.

I didn't want to "volunteer" him online, but I'd much rather see a board member such as Tim Gerrits or Paul Hickey take this on.

Both were recently elected, in part, based on their values meshing well with the rest of HeatSync as expressed by the voters.

Either is capable of effectively presenting the HeatSync story on camera.

Some of Tim's entrepreneurial activities might be a better match to what Harry says they need in the video.

Tim's work with the Mesa Arts Center is a plus as well.

I'd be happy to do it. Just wasn't watching the message board recently. Ryan has a good perspective too so I'd be happy to do it with him since he already showed interest.
