Hi guys,
We just completed a grueling 72 hour build-off contest where we
competed against 11 other teams around the country. Red Bull sponsored
this again, and the theme this year was "Game of Games." We basically
had to build a playable game, and the only stipulations were that it
must fit inside an 8x7.5x7.5' cube when disassembled, weigh less than
2,000lbs and be safe for people to use.
Well, we did it, and the result is: BATTLE GOLF!
Now we need your help to try and win this. They opened up public
voting for the winner about an hour ago, and we are shooting for a $5K
prize and a trip to the Maker Fair in NYC to demo the project. Unlike
last year however, we are up against a team from Instructables.com and
Hackaday.com, and we all know that they have a much bigger soap box
than we do.
However, we're hackers and hackers stick together. We're counting on
our fellow Defcon attendees to make this come together.

It's an annoying Facebook voting thing with a pop-up, so I'm not going
to fault anyone who doesn't want to vote. And I think there's a team from Scottsdale in this, so I also understand if y'all are duty-bound to vote for them.
But if you can, please help us out.
See you at Defcon!
