Hey guys,

Back in August (I believe) we got Austin a credit card to pay for the necessities of the space. I remember when it was proposed to give him one. I was under the impression that we were granting him a credit card with a $1,000 limit. However, Austin was actually given a card with $1,000 total. Well, the $1,000 has run out.

I am inclined to just get Austin a new card, but, since there has been a precedent set of this topic being proposed and voted on, I will invite you all to provide feedback. What should we do?

In my opinion, we should give Austin a card with a limit of some smaller amount like $250.

$1000 over three months is a pretty fast burn rate.

Can you summarize what was bought?

Mostly the intent was for incendentals such as paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc.

Have some big ticket items been put on this tab?

Big stuff needs better cost controls.

It's my understanding that cost controls are already in place, I.e. Austin has always needed to provide a receipt for everything. The community voted to trust him with $1000 of purchasing power, not a $1000 blank check.
