General comment. Transrail have been excellent with their communications in recent years. A good example is their communication about the cable laying that is happening at present. They even indicate that they are not unhappy about people 'enhancing' railway reserve land. And they have also responded favourably to concerns about train noise and vibration.
In comparison we have heard nothing from the Port Co despite their major works happening at present. Many of us have been tolerating a significant problem with dust and I'm sure we would feel better if we knew how much longer it will last. Moreover we have no idea about what their plans for development include other than what we have gleaned through the newspapers. There's also a new rumour going around about asbestos having been discovered in the fill they have used. How much has blown our way?
I'm sure regular communication directly with neighbours would be appreciated by many Heathcote residents.
