Introducing Sonetel

Hi all,

We recently launched a service that offers companies a free phone
system for all their communication needs. This is primarily targeted
towards small and medium companies that do not have the necessary time
and money to setup and maintain a phone solution. It is offered as a
service over the internet using VOIP technology and is hosted at sites
in the US and Europe. You can check it out at http://www.sonetel.com.
It has been developed at our R&D centre in Hyderabad.

Although, it's in a very nascent form, we will be soon be adding the
whistles and bells to make this feature rich.

Companies can
a. Create and manage the company's account online and through a
windows client (Sonetel Client)
b. Manage users, extensions and various other settings.
c. Buy phone numbers in multiple countries in the world and assign
them to users in the company.
e. Create/Use services to place outbound calls to anywhere in the
world and pay on a per-call basis.
f. Connect and use soft or hard VOIP(SIP) phones availabile off the
shelf with the system.
g. Download and distribute Sonetel client to all users of the company,
which integrates well with the system.
h. Connect free to any phone company that offers phone numbers or
outbound calling via VOIP.
i. Have users call free on net, chat, manage contacts, availability
status etc.
