Her is my submission.

I may be out of date when it comes to the economics of Tee-shirts.
Color vs. one color may not be a bit issue with Tee-shirts any more.
We will probably still want a monochrome color for our paper handouts
tho'. I'm sure somebody can take most color designs and convert them
into a one color design.

-Wayne

Also important to note is whatever the final logo is you should get a copy of it as a vector file. Most printers prefer to work off them.

I got independent messages from both you and Tim suggesting that
http;//www.cafeexpress.com/
be used for tee-shirt production. I came down with a nasty cold
since about 2 days after the HBRC meeting and have not spent much
thinking about tee-shirt manufacturing. I just wanted to admit to
everybody, that tee-shirt printing technology seems to have improved
over the years since I last thought about it. I'm sure there will
be other suggestions for tee-shirt vendors as well. I'm sure it is
a very competitive industry these days.

I've used them with good results.I believe that their production work
is done in Palo Alto. I think that using local resources when possible
is a good thing.

Zazzle seems to provide a similar service. An advantage to using
services like these, while probably a bit more expensive, is that the
club doesn't have to maintain any inventory, hence no upfront costs.
People simply order what they want, when they want, and the merchandise
is made on demand and shipped directly to the customer. Any problems
are handled by them, also. With CafePress, the club can have it's own
store and set a markup over the cost of the merchandise if we want to
use these items as a club fund raiser.
I've run the WRRF store on CafePress for several years and they're
extremely easy to work with. Aside from shirts, they have a wide range
of other merchandise. I particularly like their shirts since most of
the designs are ink jet printed and are soft, don't flake, and don't
make you sweat like some shirt designs do. To see examples, the WRRF
store is here:

I like that Camp!! We’ll call him “STEW”. For the record I can convert my logo submission to one color or gray scale. (in graphic arts terms that is B&W)

Hey Brian,
I am a graphic artist as well as a professional photographer. I have access to professional clip art service. I take pieces of different clip art and piece them together, and voilà.
