I've been getting my lab back into shape so that I can start publishing articles on the stuff I've been building, part of that is getting rid of things I don't intend to use.

So I've got a bunch of 'excess material' which is code for 'junk' :-) which I'm parting ways with. In a previous trip I 'gifted' a box of this stuff to the Hacker Dojo with lots of hackable parts inside. This load is similar. I've got many re-purposable things, like a DVD burner (the article about making Graphene with one is taped to it), an original iGo charge anything power supply with lots of tips, an iPad stand, a force feedback steering wheel (USB) some pedals for it too, a wireless heart rate monitor (unopened), a copy of the Making things Talk book, DSP56000 eval board, Etc. All things that can be used either in the way intended or a new way if one so desires. I'm looking for a low friction way to re-purpose this stuff

The key here is low friction, the lower the better. Want to take it off my hands and ebay it all? Fine. Have some grade schoolers who want to take things apart? That's ok too, but small parts are a choking hazard! Want to use stuff in your robots/hacks/etc great! I got what you need.

The last time I brought stuff to the SiG I ended up bringing too much home again, I'm looking for a more reliable strategy. My back up plan is to drive up to the dump and put it in the e-waste pile but that is, as they say, a waste of perfectly good hackable stuff.

Hello Chuck,

Would that wireless monitor for heart rate happen to be the one that TI sold to go with their MSP430 Wrist watch?  I have one of those watches and it would be cool to eventually get the optional wireless sensor for it.

If that is the one you have I would be interested in it.

Best Regards,

Robert

I might be interested in the DVD burner for the laser diode inside...
