ROBOTC is a:

  • LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT programming language
  • TETRIX programming language
  • VEX programming language for CORTEX and PIC robots
  • Programming language for Arduino Uno/Mega (coming soon)

If your interested Dick Swan did a overview of the new stuff in robotC at our DPRG meeting it is covered in the hour long video linked below. He is the primary authors of the system.

Robotc already has various things available for most robotic stuff. Anything it does not cover related to robotics can be mentioned to me and i will pass the message. As it s different develpoemtn environment you cant use the code directly. Though it could be ported easy enough.

I don’t think Arduino Libraries work with ROBOTC, at least without a lot of extensive re-writes.

Old version was simply NXT-G. New version is NXC -- Robot C has historically had some pretty ugly licensing terms I guess they have changed a bit now, but I haven't studied their new license.
