Maybe Camp or somebody knows,

How are the coordinates for the Robomagellan obtained and passed out?
Just by someone walking the course with a hand-held GPS?

Can we possibly do it with Google Earth? And distribute the coordinate
pairs on Email, CD, Thumb Drive or even a Floppy disk? (no transcription
errors).

Yes, the coordinates are obtained by someone just walking around the course with a hand-held GPS. The coordinates are announced and a map is distributed 30 minutes before the event.

Any thought to updating that process to Google Earth or similar? Is
there a committee that does this? Do they need any help? ;>)
