It Seems there is limit on number of mails on a particular thread,my
reply is not going through.
I managed to install the dsplinkk.ko and cmem
error was in rules.mk instead of

EXEC_DIR = $<SDK_INSTALL_DIR>/install
it should be
EXEC_DIR = $(SDK_INSTALL_DIR)/install

Modules has been inserted successful.
but still Struggling to compile apps.
gpp samples giving error
make: *** No rule to make target `/make/start.mk'. Stop

Cant i create my own hello-world dsp ,is there any tutorial for
that..TI wikis are too incomplete and confusing.

Sweta,

To build apps with codec engine framework,

In OMAP_L138_arm_1_00_00_08/codec_engine_2_25_00_05/examples, u can find "build_instructions.html". This will help u in building the apps, u have to change xdcpaths.mak.

To build apps without codec engine framework,

From OMAP_L138_arm_1_00_00_08,

make dsplink_samples

u can find the ARM app in OMAP_L138_arm_1_00_00_08/dsplink_linux_1_65_00_01/dsplink/gpp/export/BIN/Linux/OMAPL138/DEBUG/ and DSP binary in OMAP_L138_arm_1_00_00_08/dsplink_linux_1_65_00_01/dsplink/dsp/export/BIN/DspBios/OMAPL138/OMAPL138GEM_0/DEBUG/

example: ARM APP is loopgpp and DSP BINARY is loop.out.
