Hope you all had a wonderful weekend :) It's the last three weeks of the quarter, excited?
VEGAS: May 18-20-- Please meet up with a board member to pay for Vegas trip before the additional late fee of $5 is included. Pay before WEDNESDAY to avoid the fee.
With that being said...
GIRLS! Bring dresses so we can trade!! Haha, that way we don't have to buy a dress we'd only wear once.
** keep in mind to chip in for gas money to your driver at the end of your trip. Courtesy is always good :)
LU'AU SURVEY:
Please fill our this survey by this Wednesday on your thoughts about Lu'au. Whether it's about the show, about being involved behind the scenes, etc- We'd really like to get your input as this would help next year's board plan accordingly. It's only three questions long, and it'll only take you a couple of minutes. Thanks!
GENERAL MEETING:
Same place, same time-- Wednesday, 6:30 @ CCC Ring Room.
AFTER EVENT: I-tea cafe for dinner :)
ELECTION SPEECHES
This wednesday is the last day to accept/decline your nominations!!!
We will proceed with non-executive board speeches/elections week 8 during general meeting, and executive board speeches week 9 general meeting. Again, if you are on the fence about a nomination, speak to a board member to get some input!
COMPASSION PROJECT
PASS has asked us to perform at their fundraiser on MAY 21st! To promote "eco-friendliness," bring 20 empty bottles for a free shirt! Their shirts have our logo on them :)
We need dancers to perform-- We will be performing the lu'au dances. If you miss dancing, definitely let us know so we can get situated :)
MIXER WITH HAWAII CLUB AT UCSD SATURDAY, MAY 26TH
I know the facebook page says that UCLA and UCSD will be hosting the bonfire with us, but unfortunately UCLA does not have rides out to us :( We're still gonna keep them on the page in case they do make their way out here. But here are the details:
Bonfire at Corona Del Mar with UCSD! Hopefully the weather will be nice that weekend.
BANQUET June 1st, Friday
During the end of the year banquet, we celebrate the entire year with food, pictures, dressing up, and just hanging out. We will have slideshows, club awards, etc. We will also be announcing NOOK BOARD 2012-2013 this day, so if you are nominated for a position, make sure you come. The details are TBA, keep yourself posted!
