WEEK 2: SOUP PLANTATION WITH PASS, DANCE WORKSHOPS, BEACH PRACTICE, WAYZGOOSE

I hope everyone had a great first week of school! 

GENERAL MEETING, WEDNESDAY:

Same place, same time-- 6:30 @ the Ring Room in the Cross Cultural Center. 

AFTER EVENT: 

PASS has kindly invited us to their fundraiser at Soup Plantation. This will sort of be like a mixer with their club, so if you guys want to meet new people and network, or if you just really like Soup Plantation, then definitely come out! 

Dance Workshops: 

Mondays 5:00-6:00 Dr. White Room
Thursday 5:30-6:30 SSTR 102 

since solos are coming up, it is everyone's responsibility to make sure you all know the dances you signed up for, or you risk being dropped from the dance. Utilize these workshops!

Lu'au Practice:

We will be having Lu'au practice at the beach this weekend. We will also be taking photos for the program, so BE THERE!! We will not photoshop anyone in so if you miss out on this practice, then you miss out on having your photo in the program.

Do your hair, make up, what have you for the photos :)

We will be departing irvine at 8AM. Anyone living on campus, PLEASE meet at the flagpoles promptly at 8. You should know who your driver is-- if not, post on the Lu'au facebook page if you are unsure.

Wayzgoose 4/21/12:

We will be selling Hawaiian BBQ chicken at Celebrate UCI day (Wayzgoose),which means dancers who did not complete their lu'au points, this is one of the last chances you will be able to complete your points. Because we will be selling more chicken than usual, this counts for TWO points (yayyyy!!).

It is important that all dancers make it to this event because we will be fliering to publicize lu'au, performing old dances, and teaching little kids basic hula dances.
