Out of interest, does anyone here regularly run gloss under Windows?

If so, can you please check the latest version on hackage works, and reply with what version (ie Windows 7 - 32bit) you're on?

I've had spurious reports of crashes but can't replicate them on the VM installations I've got under Parallels.

Thanks,
Ben.

Not sure if this is related, but on Windows 7 32 bit, after closing the window for any of the examples built against 1.7.6.5, the process doesn't end (which is not any different than 1.7.6.2 on my end), but instead of sitting there harmlessly doing nothing, it quickly consumes 100's of megabytes of ram, finally crashing and reporting 'out of memory' on the command line.

On windows 7 this bug occurred again with gloss 1.8.1.2: when closing the gloss window the process start allocating memory until "out of memory" is thrown.
