We are nearly there!!

Belief is something that comes from faith, and faith is something we
all have! Training is now something we cannot be excused from. In ten
days time we as a Club will go to Canton and make every effort to play
Football against an opposition we know nothing of. A lot of work has

EDMONDS, Maura M. (Larkin), 88, died Monday at the Elmhurst Extended
Care Facility.

Born in Killaloe, County Clare, Ireland, she was the wife of the late
Edward Edmonds and daughter of the late Patrick and Helena (Loughnane)
Larkin.

Fellow Members,

The President is sad to announce the passing of one of our players'
Mother.
Mr. Dick Evans from County Clare, a regular at our training sessions,
has suffered such a loss. The prayers and thoughts of the Hartford
Gaelic Football Club are with him and his family at this time.
May God grant her peace.

Fellow Members,

As you all know we will play Fairfield at home next Tuesday at 7 pm.
This will
be our last match before Canton. ALL Players are asked to attend
training on
Saturday at 11 am . It is crucial to the team that we train before
this game.

HGFC Fixture

Fellow Members,

We have been approached by Fairfield GFC with an invite to play them
at the IAHS
on a Tuesday night, a regular training night, within the next few
weeks. They
have also offered to pay for our Hotel at their festival on Sat/Sun
June 14th
and 15th if we play them twice on Saturday and Sunday that weekend.

The GAA Championship is almost upon us. Bad luck to Dublin and Kerry
on their recent losses against Westmeath and Derry respectively.
Boston GAA have yet to release our schedule for this Summer but we do
anticipate our first match will be either the 10 th or 11th of May.

Fellow Members,

I regret to inform you that our fellow member Dan Ustach's Mother in
Law has passed away. The family have requested a private affair with
regard to her Funeral arrangements. At this time our thoughts and
prayers remain with Dan and his children on this sad occasion.

Fairfield Match This Saturday

Our Match with Fairfield this Saturday will go ahead as planned at
6.30 in Trumbull CT. We have a Bus organized at the Club. All members
should be at the Club for 4.00 p.m. The Fairfield Club have arranged
food for us afterwards at an Irish Pub in Fairfield. Further questions

Hartford Versus Fairfield

I have spoken to Tom Moran ,of Fairfield, and he is setting about
taking care of the permits for us to play against Fairfield on
Saturday March 29th at 6.00 pm. We will all meet at The IAHS at 4.00
pm where a car pool can take place. All members and especially

On Weds 19th of March at 6.30 p.m. we will re-convene our Annual
Convention when voting will be finalized for this years Committee. In
other news the new HGFC Junior team will play a Fairfield CT team on
