two are definitely slytherin's locket and hafflepuff's cup - and the
locket is in the black house, surely. one is nagini the two-souled
snake. One left, and that may be harry himself. Maybe YKW's
unintentionaly made harry one when he murdered Lilly Potter.

i dont think its harry but then again it might be. im wondering if ykw
knows what all his horcruxes are cause if he does and harry is one of
them, why is he still trying to kill him. i mean wouldnt ykw just be
killing part of himself? but if he doesnt know and if harry dies, he'll
find out someday. maybe.

ok, this is gonna sound weird and i dont think its true but its the
only theory that i could personally come up with.... what if Voldemort
only made 6 horcruxes, not 7. he knows that dumbledor is smarter then
him and would have found out about them and found out that he wanted 7.
By only making 6, harry/dumbledor/everyone else who knows and is
powerful enough to kill him would search forever trying to find the
last horcrux. they might never find out that there were none left so
they would never attempt to kill voldemort knowing the attempt would be
futile. either that or he could have made 8 knowing they would stop
looking after 7 and try to kill him, but fail.

maybe the last bit is true about the eight horcruxesb but im not sure
about the bit before that.

think of one possibility if YKW has unknowingly made Harry a horcrux :
Riddle made all the horcruxes intentionally and knows where they are.
but not in case of harry. if he does not know that harry's ahorcrux
then he must have made truly six horcruxes to fulfil his goal of seven
souls in his count. But Harry is the extra horcrux, and so we know now
that there has always been EIGHT souls of YKW --- three in living
beings, one well protected and hidden, two protected and hidden but
destroyed, and one used as a trap. Makes things messier if u ask
me...........

Yes Sontu, it's me.

Do you remember at the end of Book 6, Mundungus took everything from
the Black House to sell it in order to scrape a living? Amongst those
things would have most likely been 2 horcruxes... that's right, 2! In
Book 5, JKR specifically wrote that while the trio explored in the
Black House, they found " heavy locket that none of them could open".
This was the locket that was swiped by RAB (Regulus Augustus Black)
from it's true resting place in the cave. The other horcrux was a small
music box that played a twinkling tune which "made them all curiously
weak before Ginny had the sense to shut the lid". Just like to find the
locket you had to drink the potion to weaken you, perhaps at the end of
the weakening song, the horcrux would be revealed but the weaker Witch
or Wizard would have been killed-off long before...

If u ask me, i think the whole thing is kind of confusing. I guess we
will just hafta wait till the 7 book comes out. did anybody else hear
the rumor that in the 7th book, harry dies? (sorry, i know, totally off
subject. just wondering though).

True, but why would Voldemort have made Harry a horcrux, if he can't
access him as long as he is in the Dursley household? What happens if
Voldemort fell from power during the summer holidays when harry was
with his beloved relatives? He wouldn't gain access to part of his own
soul?!

Harry Can not be a horcrux! it is clear that horcruxes are only to be
stored in ThInGs.

and later "well, you split your soul, you see, and hide part of it in
an ObjeCt oustide the body"
and clearly it makes sense that you can't put two souls in one body!

so we know about the ring and the diary. and the cup and locket. we
haven't heard much about anything from ravenclaw. maybe thats what the
7th book will tell us.
