Announcing an opportunity to engage with community clinics and health
centers ...

E.H.R. Pathways to Successful Adoption

A statewide convening on electronic health records adoption

Wednesday, July 8, 2009 – Sacramento Convention Center
Thursday, July 9, 2009 – Anaheim Marriott Hotel
9 A.M. – 5 P.M.

You are invited to participate in a vendor fair as part of two
convenings on models for successful adoption and use of electronic
health records (E.H.R.).

Community clinics and health centers continue to provide high quality
and affordable health to low-income, minority and immigrant
communities across the nations. They are a vital component of the
safety net protecting California's underserved communities.

It is recognized that E.H.R.s will play a key role in helping
community clinics serve as important incubators for cost effective
chronic care management.

Hosted by the California HealthCare Foundation and the Community
Clinics Initiative, E.H.R. Pathways to Successful Adoption will focus
on informing community clinics and health centers on what it takes to
implement E.H.R.s, E.H.R. products and networks, and federal and state
processes related to stimulus funding.

Details on the events:

* Expected attendance of 300-350 at each venue
* Two events in two days: July 8 in Sacramento and July 9 in
Anaheim
* Designed for executive directors, medical directors, quality
improvement staff and information technology staff from community
clinics and health centers
* Program featuring distinguished policy makers and community
clinics who have adopted E.H.R.
* A four-hour vendor fair of CCHIT-certified products which have
been installed in community clinics and health centers

This will be an opportunity to share your products and services with a
targeted audience of healthcare professionals interested in best
practices around E.H.R. Participating vendors will be asked
participate in a pre-convening call and to provide a demonstration of
their system functionality based on a specific use case at the
convening. More details regarding the call and the use case will be
available soon.

Please mark this in your calendar. More information about the
convening is available at http://www.communityclinics.org.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please reply to Erin Combs,
