I'd like to think that these are ancient history, but it seems that the issues have become a never-ending story... today's mega-centralized IEHR system is just a replay of the same issues we faced 30 years ago. their approach has been pretty much failing continuously for 4 decades, but it just seems to keep happening. Demonstrating a working system that has won awards and user accolades for some reason isn't good enough :(
I think that Octo Barnett's response to the Mitre report is a particularly classic story...
