The 21st VistA Community Meeting will be held June 8-11 at George Mason
University in Fairfax Virginia hosted by the GMU Center for Health Information
Technology and the GMU Center for Discovery Science and Health Informatics and
WorldVistA.
George Mason is located just outside of Washington DC accessible by Metro and
the local CUE bus. The dates are Tuesday, June 8 through Friday, June 11,
2010.
Joseph Dal Molin has the registration pages almost ready, but he is tied down
in Europe by the volcano and has been unable to complete them. He is trying
to get an Internet connection so he can finish them even before he can fly
back home.
We will put more details on the WorldVistA web site as they are available,
including local hotels, driving directions, etc. We will attempt to reserve a
block of rooms at a reduced rate that have transportation available to the
University. There are several hotels on the CUE bus line so we should be able
to locate one. Here is some information about hotels for those who do not
wish to wait:

The VA CIO has promised to attend in person, but as on today, I do not know
exactly which day(s) he will be attending.
Please do not wait for me to contact you if you would like to make a
presentation. Please send along your requests to
na...@worldvista.org or
nanth...@earthlink.net.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you there!
