Dear Happstack Group,

Im not able to get the Heist Template Example from the
Crashcourse to work with the current Heist (0.11.1) and
Happstack-Heist (7.0.2) packages. An Example which just
serves a template directory would be fine and a great help
for me as haskkell-newbe.

thank you very much for the great work you are doing,
best regards,

Hey!

Sorry I have not updated this yet. It looks like it needs to be
updated to support the new compiled heist stuff. But it is not easy to
figure out what that means and their docs are not helping me much :-/
Anyway, I'm attempting to figure it out and will update the docs once
I understand what the hell is going on.

Sorry about the long wait!

I have uploaded a new version of happstack-heist which supports heist 0.11:

http://hackage.haskell.org/package/happstack-heist

Once hackage generates the haddock docs, you should be able to use the
example in the docs to get started.

I am working on updating the Happstack Crash Course, but there are
some technical issues getting in the way at the moment.

You can look at the source here until the docs are regenerated,

http://hub.darcs.net/stepcut/happstack/browse/happstack-heist/Happstack/Server/Heist.hs

Attached is a patch for updating these docs. I had the same problem as Robert.

Note: I don't really know what I'm doing :)
