This is by far the coolest website I've found on the brain and
learning. It's by Kathy Sierra, and so far in reading the archives, I
haven't found a thing I disagree with - so unusual and neat! Also, her
writing is very clear and fun.

Please show me other sites on the Brain and Learning if you have them!
Thanks!

To M. in grad school who's posted here, one of the coolest entries was
the ten tips for new trainers and teachers:

I haven't seen this documentary. I recalled reading something about it
in a magazine. I wasn't sure of the title so I Googled "documentary
PBS brain" and here it is: "The Secret Life of the Brian".

Episode 4 is The Adult Brain.

"We must also understand that the brain affects positive emotional
responses such as laughter, excitement, happiness, and love. Scientists
have been able to pinpoint the section of the brain that causes
laughter (with no intention of finding a cure!)"
