What do you keep repeating to yourself again and again?

--
* I want it.
* It's fun.
* What are some stories that get told again and again? Am I hearing
those stories? Am I telling those stories? Cocktail party
conversation.
* Play!
* Make up games.

Are there really mottos?
This one is:
"PLAY!"

My 2006 mantra is the end of this quote.
It's my favorite Steven Seagal quote
[yes, *that* Steven Seagal]
from his movie "Hard to Kill":

We're outgunned, and undermanned.
But you know something?
We're gonna win.
You know why?

Superior attitude. Superior state of mind.

The Motto, or inquiry I'm taking on for the year is "How awesome am I
willing to have my life be?"

The other inquiry that I love looking at is: "If I decide to be
completely responsible for my life, such that whatever shows up in my
life is directly related to who and how I'm being, in other words, if I
am God in my life, what do I want to choose to create powerfully
instead of just slip sliding along with whatever current or vibe
catches me?"

So from there, I think my moto sounds something like: Creating an
amazingly fabulous magical life!

I have a list of mantras, I think I posted them before too: focus,
momentum, small steps, just ask, start anywhere.

Some others:

Assume the best intentions behind an action.

Find what's unique!

Find the insight!

Find the love!

Make the connection!

Share the credit! Share the wealth! Share the knowledge!

Put out the vibe you want to receive!

Grow into yourself!

Be authentic.

Then there are kind of the more defensive ones:

* Be capable of dealing with the worst.

* It's unlikely to kill me, so it'll make me stronger. Go for it.

* Trust but verify.

* Be explicit about your assumptions.

* Anticipate

>From a recent episode of "Battlestar Galactica"

Admiral Adama, debriefing his son Major Lee Adama, regarding the late
Commander Garner, who had been promoted to command from Engineering
before leading his ship into a near fatal disaster.

"Off the record, in your opinion, what was Garner's critical flaw?"

Lee pauses thoughtfully for a moment. "Garner was used to working with
machines. Command is about people."

"Remember that."

Battlestar Galactica has to be the most realistic sci fi ever. Atleast
space sci fi if not of them all.

Something I noticed(1) da5zeay is that you have more optomistic mantras
than defenses or somewhat pessimistic(2) ones.

I have a list of them but not like any of yours.

1. Notice (people say most of what they ever will without ever talking
yet barely anyone listens...funny isn't it?)

2.Balance (I don't know what any of your positions are in religion so
don't take offense. I believe that the universe despite who or what
created it or anything else is based off math. Everything so far can be
explained by it short of its existance but that may be found soon to.
In a math equation both sides are balanced no matter what the outcome
is. Meaning that everything happens for a reason. Everything is
balanced.

3.Be thoughtful think of everything from every angle not only your
angle.

4.Balance

5.Don't hesitate!

6.Balance

7.neutrality is good, picking a side is good doing both when needed is
better.

8.Balance

9.Be fluid don't stick with anything to long. If you don't move you
won't go anywhere and anything will get you.

10.Trust is something easily lost and hard gained. It is highly valued
but its like the stock market it could crash anytime but if you look
you can see the signs. This applies with anything hence notice is the
first on my list. If you don't look you can't see.
