Seeing as we are a non-profit organization - we are busy with our
other jobs - so we cannot reply as soon as we would like.
We get about 50 requests a month to join an investigation - and right
now with the research we are doing, we really have to stick with the

Hi There,
My personal experience with ghosts/spirits etc: is that they exist, or
at least something does. I grew up in a house that was haunted here
in Edmonton albeit it was not a bad ghost. I have many stories I

be true investigators, you must look at all other options, natural and
environmental occurances before stating that something is

"Alberta - Calgary - Symons playground - An abandoned school in the
NE little ways out of the city. Late at night, sounds of children
laughing are heard. Inside the school, there have been numerous
reports of actual glimpses of the ghostly children playing. It has
been said that 2 teens went in the school and were never found again."

Thanks for posting on our board and sharing your experiences! The
McKay school is definately somwhere we would like to investigate again,
and there are many stories about 'peter', including on one tour we were
hosting, someone might have recorded a hammering noise in the washroom
upstairs, which used to be the infirmary - where peter died. He didn't

Currently we (HAPIA) are looking for stories from the public on places
in Edmonton, the
