Light snow began to fall around 8:30 or so last night, it left our area
around midnight. We had around 2 to 3 inches of light powdery snow. All our
crews are out scraping and we should be all treated by the morning commute.
The temperatures are cold, hovering around 20 degrees. Salt will only work
at minimal level in these temperatures so all drivers should be prepared to
find plowed, and sanded, but snow covered roads this morning. Hopefully we
will warm up a little after daylight and we can get some pavement showing
later in the morning.
Another little blast of snow is supposed to come through early Saturday
morning and give us another 2 inches or so.
